I am Ajda Marjanovič from Sežana. I decided to choose Belgium as young ambassador of intercultural dialogue because I have visited it last year and I really liked it. Belgium is because of the European institutions (European parliament, Commission…) important also for people of Slovenia. Belgium is a very diverse country: a bit more than a half of the Belgians speak Flemish, a bit less than a half speak French. The culture is a unique mixture of Netherlands and French cultures. I have seen quite some European countries, but Belgium really surprised me most of all. People are really nice and ready to help; and who hadn’t have heard for Belgium chocolate?
