Hello there, my name is Lincoln Grixti and I’m from Malta. I am 27 years old and currently residing in Liverpool, UK, while reading for my Masters Degree. I graduated as a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and worked for 7 years as a team leader of software and web projects at various companies, before deciding to go further with my studies and go to the UK to do that.
I love travelling and visiting new places, photography, and anything related to technology. For the past 10 years I took part in several Youth Projects and Training Courses and I also organised and hosted a few of them, both on behalf of the Municipality of my town and for other charity organisations that I help in.
Why is intercultural dialogue important in general?
Intercultural dialog is a very important part of life for me as I love travelling and I love meeting people of different nationalities and point of views. I find it really interesting to learn about different cultures and ways of seeing things and I’ve learnt a lot from it. Getting younger people to learn about different cultures is really important as it shapes the way these future leaders and participants of the society will be seeing things and creates for a more inclusive and understanding world to live in.
