I am Elif Koyuncuk I am 27 years old and I am from Turkey. I work as an EVS volunteer in Mladinski center Dravinjske doline in Slovenske Konjice. I studied bioengineering in Turkey. I like science, that’s why I make a project about science. I also like cycling and except in winter I am always on my bicycle. I worked as a volunteer for my bicycle association in my city. It was a big pleasure for me. I like to get to know other cultures and countries and like to be part of organisations through which I can share my experience and learn information from other participants.

Why is intercultural dialogue important in general?

People can acquire direct information about other countries and cultures this way. During and after the learning process they can get to know other cultures better and they can get rid of their incorrect preconceptions and some deficient ideas about other countries.
